Sandra Bobkin MEd is President of Performance Edge Services, a consulting firm specializing in coaching, emotional intelligence and performance development.
Sandra assists individuals in understanding the impact of their behaviour on relationships and performance both at work and in life. She has more than 15 years of private and public sector experience in a variety of learning, leadership and management roles. This includes service in the retail, financial and health care industries.
Sandra has developed and facilitated numerous programs/workshops. These include coaching, customer service, interpersonal skills, assertiveness, communication skills, team building, true colours, personality dimensions, career management, consulting, adult development and emotional intelligence. She has extensive background working with Finance professionals and currently delivers workshops on emotional intelligence for the (CGA) Certified General Accountants’ Association. A diverse background in adult development/learning, emotional intelligence theory, and leadership development enables Sandra to assist individuals in developing options and creating solutions for sustaining success.
In her private practice, Sandra coaches’ executives, entrepreneurs, newly appointed leaders and professionals who seek to expand their influence repertoire. This includes leaders pursuing new career opportunities. Her coaching has primarily focused upon leadership and team development, effective communication, emotional intelligence, career transition and 360 feedback results. Sandra’s clients report improved business results, increased employee engagement, and experience personal transformation.
In 2004, she was honoured as a member of the Adler Corporate Services team, involved with Scotiabank, Commercial Banking, and the 2004 winner of the prestigious International Coaching Federation PRISM AWARD. This honor is awarded to organizations that achieve business excellence through coaching.
Sandra is an Adler certified professional coach and associate with Adler’s Corporate Coaching Services. She is a respected member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Ontario Society for Training and Development (CSTD). A continuous learner, Sandra holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing (psychiatry) and a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto and OISE. She possesses professional certifications in MBTI, FIRO-B, Bar-On EQ-i® (Emotional intelligence), TAIS, Neurolinquistic Programming (NLP) and Dr. Edward DeBono’s Six Thinking Hats®. Sandra’s next endeavour entails pursuing her Doctorate degree in Psychology of Coaching.
