John Wilson CHRP is a seasoned Career Transition professional and coach with over 15 years of experience providing effective outplacement consultation and coaching to a diverse corporate client base and their terminating employees.

As President of John T. Wilson & Associates, John provides comprehensive one-on-one career transition support programs to clients at the mid/senior management, professional and executive levels.

His direct industry experience incorporates working with corporate clients from the Canadian Banking and Trust industry, and the Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Electronics, Mining, Funds Management, Telecommunications and Real Estate sectors. He has also done work with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

 

Additionally, John runs a successful retail practice providing highly tailored one-on-one career transition support to those individuals currently looking for career advancement, redirection of their careers towards something more in alignment with their skill sets, or with a need to find a position offering a better work/life balance.

Prior Career Experience

Prior to his Career Transition work, John worked in Human Resources, holding progressively more senior HR positions at Bank of Montreal and Montreal Trust Company supporting both their domestic and international operations as a business partner and internal consultant. He was a seasoned HR strategist, business advisor and mentor with particular expertise in Recruitment, Employee Relations, Staffing and Talent Management. He also has expertise in Role Profiling and Competency Model building.

Based in Mississauga Ont., John has responsibility for providing Career Transition support services to DSG clients in Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and other locations in the GTA West.
